Jeopardy! fans love seeing contestants win multiple games, especially when they win enough to qualify for the Tournament of Champions or break a record for a long-game streak, cementing them in the game show‘s history. So, can anyone break the ongoing one-game curse? Andrew Brigger, from Roseville, Minnesota, has a one-day total of $16,000, after beating one-day champion Bevin Blaber. He faced off against Emily Croke, from Denver, Colorado, and David Spelman, from Livingston, New Jersey, on Monday, June 23, to try and win his second game. “How many more consecutive 1-time champions are we gonna see until someone finally breaks that curse?” a Reddit user asked. Apparently, one more because Brigger, a social studies teacher, lost his second game. The last game that wasn’t a single win was June 12, where Matt Massie won his third game, but his reign was short, as he lost the next day. The only...

His sister, Kathryn, was one of the contestants on Jeopardy! on Friday, June 13. Read on to find out how Kathryn or “Katie” did. Did she take home a win or did three-day champion Matt Massie qualify for the Tournament of Champions by securing his fourth win? The fourth game for a Jeopardy! contestant can determine their future on the game show. If they win game four, the contestant qualifies for an upcoming Tournament of Champions. This week, Apple's acclaimed new series, Your Friends and Neighbors, crossed over with one of the most popular shows on TV. It wasn't one of its streaming compatriots, like Severance or Ted Lasso, however; it was syndicated game-show juggernaut Jeopardy!, which featured a special Your Friends and Neighbors-themed category presented by the cast of the show. In Thursday's episode, which pitted returning two-day champion Matt Massie against challengers Josh Prohofsky and Sean Addie, star Jon Hamm introduced the Your Friends and Neighbors category, promising that "just like in our show, we'll have clues about friends and neighbors people didn't know as well as they thought."
Hamm presented one of the clues, as well, while castmates Olivia Munn and Amanda Peet presented two each. The category was a wide-ranging one. Some of the clues touched on pop culture, including the secretly treacherous Peter Pettigrew from the Harry Potter franchise,...

[The following post contains Major spoilers for the Thursday, June 12, episode of Jeopardy!] Jeopardy! champion Matt Massie made a wild wager on the final question that almost cost him the win. He has a two-day total of $58,000 and tried for his third win after finding every Daily Double in his previous game. The attorney, from South Charleston, West Virginia, faced off against Josh Prohofsky, from Jacksonville, Florida, and Sean Addie, from Cannon Falls, Minnesota, on Thursday, June 12. Massie found the first Daily Double on the eighth clue. He had $1,000 in his bank and made it a true Daily Double. In “Hot, to Go,” the clue read, “You can get soup or mac & cheese in a bread bowl from this place with a name from Latin for ‘bread basket.'” He answered correctly with, “What’s Panera Bread?” giving him $2,000 and the lead. However, by the first commercial break, one wrong answer had cost Massie the lead. He had $1,600. Addie, ...

The final question on Jeopardy! sometimes causes an uproar, especially when it’s a triple stumper. It happened again with a question involving Home Depot. It all went down as two-day champion Matt Massie tried to get his third win following a dominant game the day before. Massie, from South Charleston, West Virginia, played against Jam Zimmerman, from Newark, Delaware, and Rob Forrester, from Portland, Oregon, on Wednesday, June 11. Massie had a one-day total of $30,000. The reigning champion found the first Daily Double of the game, and despite losing $2,000 on it, he won the round with $4,400. In “Do The Write Thing,” the clue read, “In 1910 German pen-trepreneurs trademarked this brand name for writing instruments of ‘peak’ quality.” He didn’t give an answer, so he dropped down to $2,400. The correct response was “Montblanc.” Forrester, a stagehand, was in second with $1,000. Zimmerman, a retired elementary school music teacher, had $800. In Double Jeopardy,...

Adam Cole and Britt Baker are used to the spotlight as two of the most popular stars in All Elite Wrestling. Yet, opening up their lives outside the ring for new TBS unscripted series Aew: All Access was a different animal. Cameras follow the power couple along with fellow wrestlers Tay Melo, Sammy Guevara The Young Bucks, Saraya, Wardlow, Eddie Kingston, and owner Tony Khan to give viewers an unprecedented peek behind the curtain. Cole contemplated if he would ever wrestle again, following two serious concussions in the space of three weeks. This weighed on him physically and mentally as well as his concerned girlfriend. Baker still somehow had to focus on her own career wrestling and then getting off the road to see patients where she’d fill cavities and promote the importance of flossing.

Broken Matt Hardy tells TMZ Sports he's been in talks with multiple wrestling organizations including WWE -- but says if Vince McMahon jerks him around, he will Delete the most powerful man in the biz. Ring of Honor Television is in the books for another week. The company is building towards it’s 15th Anniversary Pay Per View event where the winner of the Decade of Excellence Tournament will face off against Ring of Honor World Champion Adam Cole. How did the show hold up this week?
The show opened with a great recap of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 11 show where Kyle O’Reily was defeated by Adam Cole from The Bullet Club, winning the Ring of Honor World Championship in the process.
One thing I love about Ring of Honor is the working relationships they have with other companies like New Japan Pro Wrestling and Cmll in Mexico. Ring of Honor is not a big company in the United States so to have their world championship competed on a stage that rivals Wrestlemania says a lot for what these partnerships can bring.

1.Adam Cole came out victorious, as predicted by me last week, at Death Before Dishonor. It’s a well deserved victory for an up and coming star. What that victory, it caps Ring of Honor’s first real attempt at an episodic story line. One legitimate issue I’ve had with Ring of Honor television is the fact that apart from some rudimentary nods to their Pay Per Views, the shows have been random matches that have no real meaning. Wrestling is story telling. If we wanted to see two guys, or ladies, fight, we’d watch Mma. While the story was spotty, the fact they found a way to keep us viewed to the screen every week is a step in the right direction if the company hopes to expand. One bit of advice I have for Ring of Honor. Get Steve Corino back on color commentary! You have...

1.This week on Roh Television, the main event for their Pay Per View event Death Before Dishonor was announced. Nigel McGuinness stated Adam Cole would face long time champion Jay Lethal for the Roh World Heavyweight Championship. The lead up to this match has been spotty at best which is really disappointing. Adam Cole joined with the Bullet Club faction at the Roh event Global Wars, finally giving a showcase to a performer who is on his way to becoming a big deal in the business. Over the past three weeks, he and the Young Bucks tag team, Matt and Nick Jackson, have been wrecking havoc on Ring of Honor television, including viciously taking out Kyle O’Reilly a couple weeks back after a match with Jay Lethal and last week shaving Jay Lethal bald. For too long, the Bullet Club in Ring of Honor has been treated like cool heroes,...
