Master Marco Antonio, a celebrated actor with the National Theater Company for the past 16 years, has performed in over 80 stage productions. He began his career in 1983 in his hometown of Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.
He has conducted more than twenty acting workshops.
Among his most recent theatrical projects are "Derrota luminosa" by Estela Leñero, "Rey viejo" directed by José Carlos Rodríguez, "La conversión del diablo" directed by Martín Acosta, and "Los empeños de una casa" by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, directed by Aurora Cano. The latter earned him recognition from the ACPT Awards with a nomination for Best Actor, as well as the 2024 Metropolitan Theater Awards, where he won for Best Supporting Actor.
In film, he has participated in various short films, such as "Huellas en la Nieve" by Lucía Toledo, "Eco de trompeta", a fictional short film (CCC) by Luis Arellano, and "Si me matan" by Hipatia Argüero Mendoza.
Currently, he can be seen in HBO's "Sr. Ávila", "Aquí en la Tierra", and "El norte hacia el vacío" by Alejandra Márquez Abella.
