Married to Ravi Kurada and lives in Stamford Conncticut USA. She has two sons.

Was in the news in 2013 when a man dressed up in Cookie Monster costume forced her son to take a picture with him , then demanded money. When she said she did not have any cash, the man in the costume got aggressive and passed abuses at her and he child. He was later charged.

Now has a famous Youtube channel "Blush With Me -Parmita". She has several makeup video tutorials.
