Jimmy (Jim) Clarke is a Vancouver based Stunt Performer. Born and raised in Deep Cove he was involved in a medley of sports. His favorites being Hockey and Martial Arts, (Taekwondo, Karate) Jimmy quickly surpassed his peers and started to play competitive Hockey as well as compete in Taekwondo. Juggling these two, Jimmy also took up Soccer in the North Shore Division where he set the track lap record at age 13.
While attending School, Jimmy was also a track and field marvel placing 1st in the 100 meter and being the tail on the 4x100. . Jimmy was known for his astonishing acceleration and top speed not only on the track but as well as the rink.
By Highschool, Jim competed in Taekwondo tournaments all over British Columbia where his trophy cabinet outgrew his room. He then went on to World Championships in Las Vegas where he came 1st in Forms and 2nd in Fighting. Returning from World's a few months after, Jimmy had his final belt test which he received his 1st degree Black. He also represented BC in the World Championships for Roller hockey. Juggling Roller and Ice hockey at a high level through Highschool, Jimmy went to Provincials where his team placed second for B.C.
Shortly after receiving his drivers license Jimmy took an affinity to cars . Throughout his 20's and early 30's, he became very fond of precision driving. Having done extensive track time including the Nola speedway in New Orleans, Jimmy finds his comfort behind the wheel of a machine.
Jimmy was introduced to Stunts by his sister Jennifer. Being invited to the set of Supergirl Jimmy found how action scenes unfolded from rehearsal to Lens. Jimmy instantly found his true calling and saw a job that could utilize all his skills he acquired throughout his youth.
As of today, Jimmy has played on multiple shows not only as a stuntman but as an actor. Constantly training and learning new skills to help benefit his future as a stuntman and actor, he wouldn't trade his career for anything.
