Worked for 3 years as a model maker on stop motion animated films.

Met her partner Mungo McKay whilst working as a projectionist. A year later they were both cast in Canibais (2003). By the time it was released it screened at the cinema where they met 3 years earlier, and was projected by Randall.

Worked as a projectionist at the only cinema in her home town to screen Canibais (2003). She would often hear the audiences' reactions to the film from the projection room.

Has a Diploma of film and television acting from The Actors Workshop.

Studied drama at QUT, graduated 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts.

Won Best Female Actor at the Queensland New Filmmakers Awards for her role in the short film Once I Was (2004).

Was a guest at the 2003 and 2004 Pop Culture Expo "Supanova" for her role in Canibais (2003).

Her daughter Ruby was nine weeks old when she appeared in Bullets for the Dead (2015) with her.

It was her idea to use an accent for her role as the Alien Commander in Australiens (2014).

She underwent weapons training for her role in Canibais (2003) but her character Molly never actually fires her revolver unassisted.

The large henna tattoo she wore on her back for her role in This Girl in the Desert (2006) took 5 hours to apply and was designed by the film's producer and editor, Tanya Trochoulias.

To date, she has appeared in nine films with her partner Mungo McKay.

After appearing in Jill Shearer's "Shimada", she would often see the playwright at her local fruit shop. Interestingly, "Shimada" was the first play written by a female Australian playwright to be performed on Broadway.

Born in Australia, is of English, Welsh, Scottish and French descent.

After graduation from University worked as an architectural model maker for one week before deciding it wasn't for her.

In 2017 she was a guest at "Conquest" - Australia's longest running Sci-Fi media convention.

Is trained in Lyn Kidd's acting technique which is based on the work of Stella Adler.
