His childhood dream was to become a cast member of Saturday Night Live (1975).

Graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in theatre.

Performed with the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York for nine years.

He is of Irish, Swedish, and Italian descent.

Has one daughter (b. July 2017).

'SNL' is one of those jobs where you are constantly reminded of how lucky you are and that you get to meet some of these people whose work you enjoy. Then you get to meet them, and they are just wonderful people. It turns out wonderfully, and you have a great conversation.

These days with the web, you can burn out a character really quick.

I have this old-man character named Glary Oldman. His apartment was on fire, but he was stubborn about leaving because he didn't want to leave all his stuff. I have a character called Berle, who lost 19 pounds, and now he's 600 pounds and very happy about it.

When I was at Upright Citizens Brigade, I would pretend to be a sad, drunk rapper.

I think I'm a big kid at heart, so I get very excited around the holidays.
