Charles Gbenga Yinusa
Charles Gbenga Yinusa was born in Providence, Rhode Island. Being raised in America by parents of different cultures (father) Nigeria and mother (Canada), Charles exhibits a unique worldview, passion for life and ability to relate to others.
He grew up with a love for movies and acting but never got into any acting as a child, figuring it was "just a dream." Instead he played football, basketball, baseball and boxing. This passion for physical activity allowed Charles to help people look and feel their best as a personal trainer. He went on to get a degree in Kinesiology/Health Fitness at The University of Rhode Island and then followed that up with a master's degree in Counseling from Providence College.
After a tragic incident that resulted in him losing his job working at a local school, Charles refused to quit. Instead he started a non-profit called "EmpowerThroughPlay" and took up modeling and acting signing with Kingsley Models (DC), Click Models (Philly), and Dynasty Model Inc (Boston). After his first mission trip to Kakuma Refugee Camp in 2016, Charles began receiving acting and modeling opportunities. He saw this as the life that chose him and brings his excitement for life everywhere he goes, especially to the movie set!
