Christina Kim(XVI)

Christina is a Sydney-based actor and voice artist who was born and raised in Philadelphia, USA. She holds dual citizenship in Australia and the United States. Her mother is Cambodian and her father is Filipino, and she brings a rich cultural perspective to all of her creative work.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Christina holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education. She has over seven years of experience teaching students of all ages and has taught in diverse international settings, including Cambodia and South Korea. These experiences have deepened her understanding of global perspectives and human connection-values she brings to her work as a performer.
Christina is also a seasoned hip-hop dancer with over 15 years of training and showcase experience. She has studied acting at NIDA, AMAW Sydney, Acting Mastery, and with respected coach Pip Edwards.
She is the recipient of the 2022 NIDA Open Equity Scholarship, the 2021 AAFTA Ugly Truth Masterclass Scholarship, and was a finalist for the 2022 AMAW BIPOC/Global Majority Scholarship.
Her voice work includes the role of Bu in Spooky Memes, which screened at the Los Angeles International Horror Film Festival and won Best Animation Short (Jury Choice) at the Accord Cine Fest. She also narrated One World is Writing, a short film that screened at the Independent Film Festival Boston and NYC Indie Theatre Film Festival, and won Best Documentary at the Reading Film Festival.
