Ibrahim Ali Khan has grown from a college boy to an intense and brooding terrorist for his second film, Sarzameen. The announcement teaser of the film has dropped, and it is definitely gonna make you excited. Also, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol, the teaser has been done beautifully.

The intrigue that has been set up in the trailer of this intense drama is real. The film is directed by Kayoze Irani, and Prithviraj channels his best self in every single frame. Meanwhile, Kajol is electrifying, making us remember her shades of Zooni a bit! Probably only because the premise for Kashmir tends to do this – it makes you remember all the good stuff you have seen before!

The previous episode of Revival ended on a cliffhanger, and the mystery behind Em’s death continues to be a crucial plot point of the show. Messing with the Checks came at a price, and Kay strongly believed that they followed Em and killed her that night.

Based on Richard Osman’s 2020 novel of the same name, the story is set in a retirement community in England and follows four irrepressible retirees — ex-spy Elizabeth (Mirren), former union activist Ron (Brosnan), ex-psychiatrist Ibrahim (Kingsley) and retired nurse Joyce (Imrie) — who spend their time solving cold case murders for fun until an unexplained death occurs on their own doorstep, involving them in a real whodunit. The murder mystery genre has always been popular, but in recent years, interest has skyrocketed after films like Knives Out, the new Agatha Christie adaptations Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile, as well as the series Only Murders in the Building. Netflix is continuing this trend with a new murder mystery film, The Thursday Murder Club.

The upcoming film will have Harry Potter director Chris Columbus at the helm, and is based on British TV host and producer Richard Osman's bestselling novel by the same name. With a star-studded cast, the film comes from Stephen Spielberg's production company Amblin, and has a script by Katy Brand and Suzanne Heathcote. The project was originally announced in April 2024, and Netflix has just confirmed The Thursday Murder Club's release date for Aug. 28, per Tudum.

Sports dramas of any kind demands an added level of physicality from their characters, something that Netflix’s latest Mma combat-based series, The Cage, exemplifies very well with its talented cast, who brought out the best from the narrative through their emphatic performances. Aside from this positive aspect, the series is going to attract a major number of combat sports nerds thanks to the number of cameo appearances by legendary Mma fighters, which almost made me think Dana White was going to pop up on the series at some point. Anyway, the inclusion of real-life stars brings a sense of realism into the narrative, and the fact that their appearances aren’t merely limited to blink-and-miss-it-type roles is an added bonus on top of everything.
