If you’ve ever read any of my reviews around December, then you will probably know that I love Christmas movies. So when they mix perfectly together with the horror genre I am even happier.

That said, unfortunately, there’s not a whole lot of Christmas horror released each year, and even less, Good Christmas horror. In recent years, Better Watch Out, Await Further Instructions, Hosts, Black Christmas, I Trapped The Devil and The Lodge have all been largely entertaining and of good quality. Norwegian movie Jule Blood (Christmas Blood) covers a Christmas murderer who has escaped jail and back on the loose for that special day.

Harry Potter star Rupert Grint steps out of the magical Hogwarts world and into an intense World War II drama from director Petter N&#230ss. Based on actual events, the story follows a group of British and German pilots who are shot down and forced to share the same cabin to survive in the Norwegian wilderness. Take a look at this scene featuring Rupert Grint as Gunner Robert Smith, who angers Unteroffizier Josef Schwartz (David Kross) by ruining his book.

Magnolia Pictures has debuted two trailers for Into the White, the studio's World War II drama that will be released on VOD formats March 7 before arriving in theaters April 12. Harry Potter's Rupert Grint stars in this drama about two World War II pilots, one British and one German, who are stranded in the Norwegian wilderness. Despite their hostile nature towards each other, they learn to depend on each other to survive in the harsh winter months. Florian Lukas, Rupert Grint, David Kross, and Stig Henrik Hoff headline the WWII adventure Into the White, which revolves around an American Pilot and a German pilot that shoot each other down only to find that they must depend on each other to survive a harsh Norwegian winter, alone in the wilderness. Norway has brought us some of the best horror films in the last couple of years including Rovdyr, Skjult, Cold Prey I & II, and Dod Sno (Dead Snow), but now there is a new star on the horizon. Detour, from director Severin Eskeland, will shine brightly at the Afm, but now the first trailer and poster are available to be seen. To star Marte Germaine Christensen, Sondre Krogtoft Larsen, and Jens Hultèn Detour will be released in North America once distribution has been found.
