Since its release in 2013, Warframe has managed to keep up its free-to-play model with the help of exciting DLCs that have gathered a huge number of players. The Digital Extremes developed title is one of the most popular live-service games out there and boasts incredible numbers on Steam.

At the tail end of 2024, Digital Extremes gave us the highly anticipated Warframe 1999 update. This brought the introduction of a new quest line, game modes, weapons, quality-of-life changes, a full-fledged romance system, and new enemy factions.
