Camryn Macdonald

Camryn is a Vancouver based actress with a love of onstage and screen performance. She started performing on the stage at the age 7 and appeared most recently as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz with CTORA Theatre, for which she won a Canadian Youth Theatre Award (CYTA) for Outstanding Lead Performance. Other notable theatre roles have been Rizzo in Grease with SDSS Equinox Theatre, Katherine in Newsies Jr with Delta Youth Theatre, and Annie in Annie with Align Entertainment.
Camryn started in film/TV at the age of 12 and booked two lead roles in feature films in her first year. Her favorite film roles have been Prudence Slaughter, a time traveling officer in Time Helmet; Billy, a young girl trying to make friends in Clearfield; and Anna, a troubled Amish teen in the Leo award winning feature An Amish Sin.
Camryn studied a variety of dance disciplines competitively for 11 years, including modern, ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary. She continues to develop more unique skills including studying voice, improvisation, boxing, and Taekwondo most recently.
