She has played the teenage version of Jennifer Garner's character in two separate films: De Repente 30 (2004) and Minhas Adoráveis Ex-Namoradas (2009).

Has four older brothers: Bryan, Derrick, Tyler and Steven. She also has four older stepbrothers: Matthew, Jason, Patrick and Brady.

Started attending acting lessons at the age of nine.

In her film debut, the song "Love Is a Battlefield", performed by Pat Benatar, was prominently featured. In 2009, Christa appeared on an episode of the medical drama Plantão Médico (1994) titled "Love is a Battlefield".
