Brandi James

Brandi Ransburg is an American actress, model, entrepreneur, and public speaker. She made her television debut at the age of 8 as a featured dancer on "The Scene", produced in the studios of the first African American owned and operated TV station in the United States. Brandi then began honing her craft, studying acting at the TVI Actors Studio in New York and the Detroit Repertory Theatre. During this time Brandi also gained further exposure as a model, event hostess, and reality TV guest star. After taking a hiatus to earn a dual degree in Social and Criminal Justice, Brandi began making several television appearances, promoting her luxury pet boutique Prissy Paw Palace on FOX 2 Detroit and Live in the D, which subsequently led to her being cast as Teresa Moore in a Co-starring role for the upcoming television drama "Top of The City". Brandi's other upcoming projects include being cast as Mama Dukes in "Gutta of Detroit", Sonia in "City, No Motor", Ms. Patty is the upcoming series "Besties", Young Martha in "Swings, Bikes and Sidewalk Chalk". And last but not least, a starring role in "The Jackie Wilson Story, Mr. Excitement" as Eliza Wilson, the mother of Jackie Wilson.
