Following the crash and burn of the Dceu, James Gunn and Peter Safran will look to make audiences forget with the new Dcu, which will attempt to revive the DC franchise and successfully reboot its characters. The DC Studios' Dcu will feature crossovers in multiple mediums like the MCU. In the Dcu, Gunn will carry over some actors from the Dceu, like Viola Davis' Amanda Waller, John Cena's Peacemaker, and others. However, DC Studios will reboot the key Justice League members, starting with Superman, with David Corenswet taking over the iconic superhero role from Henry Cavill. New actors will also take on the roles of Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and other Justice Leaguers in the years to come if the Dcu finds success. These characters will undergo new visions in the Dcu and some will have a harder time rebooting than others.
