Brooks has been a screenwriter for over twenty years, has completed over 70 scripts to date, including a two-hour television pilot action drama titled "Jersey's Finest", a gritty crime drama titled "Bound by Chaos", a Latin themed crime story titled "Sweet Fifteen", a big budget boxing themed biopic titled "Be Tough", a dramatic music-oriented tale titled "Strum", and a racially motivated action thriller titled "Hate".

(2002) Brandon E. Brooks was the first assistant director of the independent drama "Look Hard", starring David Duzenski (Touched), and Gina Martino (A Man Possessed).

In December of 2006, Brooks acted as the Unit Production Manager for the third installment of the "Unknown" trilogy, this film titled "Gone", which starred Sal Mazzotta (Mafioso: The Father, the Son), Angie Everhart (Bordello of Blood), Robert Costanzo (Total Recall), and young up and comer Ryan Talbot. The "Unknown" trilogy premiered in Philadelphia, PA on March 22nd at the Prince Music Theater.

(junho de 2013) Brandon E. Brooks directed a documentary video for famous pro wrestler Tommy Dreamer's House of Hardcore wrestling event in Pennsylvania, which features legends such as Tommy Dreamer, Ric Flair, Terry Funk, and The Steiner Brothers.

(2022) Hosted a podcast titled INDUSTRY OUTLAWS UNITED, which was an entertainment themed show that featured numerous talent from TV, film, sports, and sports entertainment.
