Detective Sergeant Ellie Miller and Detective Inspector Alec Hardy are back to investigate one last case. BBC America has released the trailer for the third and final season of its drama series “Broadchurch,” which centers on the murder investigation of 11-year-old Danny Latimer in the once-sleepy seaside town of Dorset, England. The series is created by Chris Chibnall (“Camelot,” “Gracepoint”) and stars Olivia Colman and David Tennant as the detective duo.

Season 3 picks up three years after the end of the second season, and five years after the beginning of the series. In this season, a three-year flash-forward finds the two detectives investigating another crime in their once-sleepy seaside town, which may or may not be related to the Danny Latimer case that plagued the townspeople in season one.

Among other returning cast members are Jodie Whittaker and Andrew Buchan as Beth and Mark Latimer. Also coming back: Arthur Darvill as Vicar Paul Coates; Carolyn Pickles as newspaper editor Maggie Radcliffe; Charlotte Beaumont as Mark and Beth’s daughter Chloe; and Adam Wilson as Ellie’s son Tom.

Broadchurch is back. This week, ITV announced filming has begun on the series' third and final season. Additionally, Sir Lenny Henry and Roy Hudd have joined the cast.

In April, we reported that season three of the crime drama would be the last one. The first two seasons of the series star David Tennant and Olivia Colman as two detectives investigating the murder of a young boy in a small English town.

BAFTA winner Lenny Henry has joined the cast of the third season of hit ITV crime drama "Broadchurch" which just began production today. The series will mark the final outing for David Tennant and Olivia Colman in their famed roles as detectives Hardy and Miller.

In the new eight episode season, the pair reunite to investigate a serious sexual assault. The season looks at the emotional cost for all of those involved and the irreparable damage to friendships and relationships.

Roy Hudd, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Georgina Campbell, Sarah Parish, Charlie Higson and Mark Bazeley also join the cast this time while returning members include Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchan, Arthur Darvill, Carolyn Pickles, Charlotte Beaumont and Adam Wilson.

Prolific comedy actor who worked with Peter Sellers, Tony Hancock, Spike Milligan and Hattie Jacques

The stony-faced, beaky comedy actor Graham Stark, who has died aged 91, is best remembered for his appearances alongside Peter Sellers, notably in the Pink Panther movies. His familiar face and voice, on television and radio, were part of the essential furniture in the sitting room of our popular culture for more than half a century. A stalwart in the national postwar comedy boom led by Sellers, Tony Hancock, Spike Milligan, Dick Emery, Eric Sykes and Benny Hill, he worked with them all in a sort of unofficial supporting repertory company that also included Hattie Jacques, Deryck Guyler, Patricia Hayes and Arthur Mullard. He was also a man of surprising and various parts: child actor, trained dancer, film-maker, occasional writer, and dedicated and critically acclaimed photographer.

The nuns, the other nurses and even one of her patients assumed that Lee had found love but she was more concerned with another man: an elderly Boer war veteran named Joe. British comedian Roy Hudd took on the role of Joe and he brought an innocent charm to the character. Lee managed to get past her phobia of the insects that infested his home and formed quite a close bond with the old man although his story was to reach a sad and somewhat predictable conclusion.

While Joe’s tale was the focal point of episode three, there was time for Chummy to flirt a little with a local bobby and for Fred to set himself...

The BBC has announced the cast for its new adaptation of Just William. The channel confirmed reports that Outnumbered star Daniel Roche has landed the lead role in the series, which is based on Richmal Crompton's novels. The Thick Of It's Rebecca Front and Linda Green star Daniel Ryan will appear as William's parents, while Warren Clarke and Caroline Quentin will feature as new neighbours the Botts. Denis Lawson, John Sessions and Bruce Mackinnon have signed up to play William's teachers, while Martin Jarvis, who worked on the classic Just William recordings, will narrate the series. Veteran actress June Whitfield is to join the cast of Coronation Street, it has been confirmed. The 84-year-old - whose extensive filmography includes Carry On films and more recently Doctor Who - takes on the role of May, Blanche's old friend who turns up for her funeral. Actor Roy Hudd is to reprise his Coronation Street role as Archie Shuttlleworth for Blanche Hunt's funeral.
