Was one of the final choices for the role of "Captain Sisko" on Jornada nas Estrelas: Deep Space Nine (1993) and the role of "Captain Janeway" on Jornada nas Estrelas: Voyager (1995).

Was a full-fledged paramedic when he played Detective Matthew Sikes in "Alien Nation".

Along with Jeffrey Combs and Matt Winston, he is one of only three actors (besides the regulars) to appear in all four seasons of Jornada nas Estrelas: Enterprise (2001).

Initially attended the University of California as a pre-med major, but soon switched his major to acting because he was having trouble maintaining a 4.0 grade point average.
