On March 18, 2011, Comedy Central aired a tribute to Greg titled Give It Up for Greg Giraldo (2011). Fellow comedians Sarah Silverman, 'Nick Swardson'', Lewis Black, Conan O'Brien, Denis Leary, Dave Attell, and Jeffrey Ross (to name a few) gave very emotional heartfelt condolences to Greg.

Was of Colombian and Spanish descent.

Performed his last stand-up show on September 24, 2010, in New Jersey.

Had his own show on Comedy Central for a brief period of time, titled "Stand-Up Nation with Greg Giraldo" (2005)_.

Worked for the New York City law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.

In a stand-up act not long before his death, Giraldo went on a rant about getting divorced "again." However, in real life while he was estranged from his 2nd wife, they were not divorced and had not begun any legal process to get divorced.
