Mother of Magda Foy.

Stage character actress, also in films from 1912. Not to be confused with the actress Mary Foy of vaudeville fame.

Retired from films in 1940; left Hollywood and moved to Queens, New York City; resided with her daughter, former actress Magda Foy and her son-in-law, Arthur Edwards, until the time of her death in 1956.

Entered films in October 1911 with husband Patrick Foy and daughter Magda Foy as members of the Solax Film Stock Company.
