Performing from age 6, she made her professional debut in song and dance as "Little Verna Felton" at San Francisco's Fischer Concert House in August of 1900 at age 10.

Like Lord Duke, it is left unresolved who voiced Queen Leah in ''Sleeping Beauty (1959)'', due to her being uncredited. It can be possible that since Leah's voice is like Felton and while recording some lines as Flora, Felton likely recorded two lines as Leah.
