Plump comic actress who started her career at Hal Roach studios in short comedies. Best remembered in Laurel & Hardy films; she played Mrs Hardy twice (Should Married Men Go Home? (1928) and Um Dia Perfeito (1929)). Later played bit parts in Hollywood features, once in W.C. Fields Never Give a Sucker an Even Break (1941).
