Appeared in 59 of The Three Stooges short films.

Was born the day after Bud Jamison, another frequent collaborator of The Three Stooges. Sadly, they both died of complications from diabetes.

He died from coronary thrombosis brought on by complications from diabetes on November 5, 1963, dying only three weeks before the assassination of President John F Kennedy and the murder of the presumed assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald. He was interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills (Los Angeles, CA).
