- Has two PhDs and teaches American Sign Language. Dr. Delora was a professor at New York University teaching ASL 1 & 2 as well as conversational ASL.
- Began volunteering with the Special Olympics in 1972 and was recently awarded a gold, bronze & silver medal to honor her 30 years with the organization.
- Is deaf: 100% loss in right hear and over 90% left ear. But speaks perfectly, uses sign language and still sings as well as signs to music.
- Travels with her hearing dog - Angel, an American Eskimo miniature. Participated in Pageants since her early teens: Miss Catskill Area teen, Miss Teen Ulster County and many more including Miss America preliminaries in Ulster County, Miss Manhattan and also was Miss Murry Hill for a big pageant in New York City. Has garnered a lot of attention and prestigious placings and award for her photography. Jennifer has been a celebrity judge at many pageants including "Miss Deaf America" and is available for Pageant coaching (all ages), directing, hosting, entertaining and talent development.
- Toured with the The Go-Go's on their 25th Anniversary tour and was named the honorary fifth "Go-Go". Jennifer's line from Mutantes Carnívoros (1987) is considered one of the worst film quotes of all time: "If we wake up dead, we'll know who to blame!" - "Queen Nyla" (Jennifer Delora) to a companion who wants to rest before going on with a dangerous journey, in Mutantes Carnívoros (1987) (1986 video). She also won Razzie's for her roles in her first four films.
- Don't blame me or the characters an actor plays for copy cat people who want to take art into life. Playing a mean character doesn't reflect on the actor and violence in films is not encouraging violence in real life
