Netflix's French-language Mma show The Cage has a distinctly varied cast of up-and-coming young actors, renowned actor-directors, and several real-life Mma fighters. The Cage follows Taylor Keita (Melvin Boomer) as he rockets from being an unknown entity to the newest sensation in the French UFC. Along the way, he's both supported and discouraged by people in his professional and personal lives, and The Cage feels very similar to underdog sports movies like Rocky. The Cage is also similar to some of Sylvester Stallone's best action movies in that it focuses just as much on its characters as it does its fight scenes.
