- Contrary to legend, he had confirmed in interviews that he did not star in the unaired 1970 pilot for the superhero series Spectreman (1971). The actual star, whose identity remains unknown, was a model who starred in commercials at the time. Tetsuo Narikawa, who starred in the series itself, confirmed this as well.
- Was born to a Japanese mother and an English-American father.
- Best known for portraying Hideki Go (Ultraman Jack) in O Regresso de Ultraman (1971) series.
