Terry Christian

He was the winner of the Sony Radio Award in the Best Specialist Music category in 1985 and 1986 for his show on BBC Radio Derby called Barbed Wireless.
He was dubbed the "low budget voice" of television by Jonathan Ross.
He is a big fan of The Smiths and Echo & The Bunnymen.
He claims that he was turned down for a job presenting on BBC Radio 1 because he sounded too much like Andy Kershaw.
He had a regular column on youth issues and politics for the Derby Evening Telegraph between 1983-1987.
