Amazon Prime has lined up quite the dynamic duo: Taylor Kitsch has signed on to star alongside Chris Pratt in the upcoming thriller series The Terminal List, our sister site Deadline reports.

Based on the bestselling novel by Jack Carr, The Terminal List stars Pratt as Navy Seal James Reece, whose platoon is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. He returns home questioning what really happened and who was responsible. Kitsch will play Reece’s best friend Ben Edwards, a former Seal who now works for the CIA and uses his intelligence access to help Reece unravel the mystery.

Taylor Kitsch will star alongside Chris Pratt in Amazon’s television adaptation of Jack Carr’s bestselling novel “The Terminal List,” Variety has confirmed. The series is a co-production from Amazon Studios and Civic Center Media in association with MRC Television.

The “Friday Night Lights” actor will play Ben Edwards, a former Navy Seal and the best friend of James Reece, played by Pratt.

“The Terminal List” follows Reece after his entire platoon of Seals is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. When Reece returns home to his family, he questions his own culpability with muddled memories of the event. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him. Edwards uses his CIA Ground Branch access and operator skillset to help Reece seek his vengeance.

The series is executive produced by Pratt and Jon Schumacher through Indivisible Productions, Antonia Fuqua through Fuqua Films and writer Daniel Shattuck.

Taylor Kitsch has been cast to star alongside Chris Pratt in the Amazon thriller series “The Terminal List,” TheWrap has confirmed.

The series, based on the Jack Carr novel of the same name, follows James Reece (Pratt) after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Per Amazon, “Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life but the lives of those he loves.”

Kitsch will play Ben Edwards, a former Seal and James Reece’s best friend. Now a member of CIA Ground Branch, Edwards uses his intelligence access and operator skillset to help Reece seek his vengeance.

David Digilio is writer, showrunner and executive producer on the series alongside Pratt and director Antoine Fuqua.

Chris Pratt has spent most of the last decade in the once-unlikely position as one of Hollywood's biggest breakout stars. However, despite a budding big-budget backlog, the A-lister is planning his return to the medium on which he got his start: television.

Pratt has signed on for a television project titled The Terminal List, on which he’ll serve as headlining star and executive producer. The project, which adapts the conspiracy thriller novel of the same name by Jack Carr, will see Pratt joined behind the camera by Antoine Fuqua, who is set to direct and executive-produce the pilot. Chris Pratt is lining up his first TV gig in nearly five years. The “Park & Recreation” alum is set to star and executive produce “The Terminal List” with Antoine Fuqua.

The series, which doesn’t have a network attached, is being developed by Mrc Television. Fuqua will direct the pilot as well as executive produce.

Chris Pratt could soon be returning to the small screen.

Variety has learned that Pratt is attached to star in and executive produce a series adaptation of the Jack Carr novel “The Terminal List.” Antoine Fuqua is attached to direct and executive produce, with Fuqua and Pratt having brought the project to the studio. David Digilio is set to write executive produce the series.

Digilio previously created the ABC series “Traveler.” He most recently worked as a writer and executive producer on the CBS All Access series “Strange Angel.” Pratt will executive produce via his Indivisible Productions. Fuqua will direct and executive produce under his Fuqua Films banner. The show is Civic Center Media project in association with Media Rights Capital (Mrc) Television. Civic Center was formed in 2018 as a joint venture between UTA, Valence Media, and Mrc.
