- Greg Cannom, Kate Biscoe & Patricia Dehaney won the 2019 Academy Award in the Best Makeup and Hairstyling category for their work on Vice (2018).

- In 2023, Variety reported that a GoFundMe had been set up for Cannom, who at the time was experiencing "major health issues," including a case of nerve damage from shingles and a partial amputation of one of his legs. The fundraiser did ultimately raise $100,000 for the artist, surpassing its initial goal of $75,000.
- In 2005, Cannom won a Technical Achievement Award for "the development of their special modified silicone material for makeup applications used in motion pictures," a proprietary modified silicone makeup system that advanced makeup appliance techniques in film.
- Greg Cannom was the recipient of several accolades, including five Academy Awards and two Saturn Awards, and has been nominated for four Primetime Emmy Awards and four BAFTA Awards.
