George Bruce(1898-1974)

Hollywood screenwriter of action films in the 1930s and '40s, a former pilot. He began writing in the 1920s and became noted for his aerial war stories (as well as crime stories) for pulp fiction magazines. A radio show, "George Bruce's Air Stories of the World War", was also broadcast around 1932.
