Besides Arnold Schwarzenegger, he is the only actor to appear in the first three "Terminator" films: O Exterminador do Futuro (1984), O Exterminador do Futuro 2: O Julgamento Final (1991) and O Exterminador do Futuro 3: A Rebelião das Máquinas (2003)). He portrayed the character of Dr. Peter Silberman in all three films. Neither he nor Schwarzenegger appeared in the fourth film O Exterminador do Futuro: A Salvação (2009) but Schwarzenegger returned for O Exterminador do Futuro: Gênesis (2015).

Has played a psychologist five times: The first three Terminator movies, Corra que a Polícia vem Aí 33 1/3 (1994) and O Professor Aloprado 2: A Familia Klump (2000).

Supposedly retired from screen acting in December 2003, but continued to do voice acting in radio, animated series and video games.

Has appeared with his late wife Carole Kean in the comedy film Escola de Aeromoças (1986).

Has appeared in two movies which end in nuclear war: Miracle Mile (1988) and O Exterminador do Futuro 3: A Rebelião das Máquinas (2003). The former has a character named after Harlan Ellison who was also given a writing credit for O Exterminador do Futuro (1984).
