Godfrey Ho

He is considered a master of low-budget Hong Kong actioners. His work consisted mostly of Z-grade movies that were made with a "cut-and-paste" technique. First he shot his own footage with a Caucasian cast to appeal the Western market. Then he would take footage from movies from other Asian countries and combine them with his own material. With that procedure, he often had four or five rock bottom quality movies while having spent the budget of one.

I used to be a movie maker. Now I am teaching people to make movies. It really makes me glad when my students are happily showing me their works. Only if you've been through the whole process, can you understand how satisfactory and delightful it is.
