Abie Bain was inducted into the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame on October 17, 1976.

Background actor and advisor to Movie and TV productions Talhado Para Campeão (1937) (1937), Fibra de Campeão (1938) (1938), Luvas de Ouro (1940) (1940), The Leather Pushers (1940) (1940), _Knockout_ 1941), and Réquiem Para um Lutador (1962) (1962). Anthony Quinn was quoted as saying that his characterization of Mountain Rivera used the rough voice and mannerisms of Abie Bain, who had been a technical adviser and had a small role in the movie.
