Asner left E! in 2003 shortly before the ouster of then network President, Mindy Herman. An article in the Los Angeles Times mentions that Herman stole gifts and mail intended for Asner.

Shared a bunkroom with Cindy Crawford during the early days of their modeling careers.

The Weinstein Company/Miramax Books purchased the publishing rights to her first novel, Whacked. The book was released June 3, 2008. "Whacked" was a top ten fiction bestseller on Amazon, and was in its third printing within the novel's first month of release. The paperback is due to be published in May of 2009.

Was discovered at a modeling convention in Scottsdale, Arizona at age 16.

Appeared as a guest on "The Adam Carolla Radio Show" to promote her Novel and ended up defending her husband, Steven Soderbergh's film Treze Homens e um Novo Segredo (2007) in a heated back-and-forth with Carolla after a year of Carolla referring to the movie as "an abortion of a film".

Jules also hosted "Live by Request" on A&E and was a segment director and producer on the now-defunct tabloid show, Hard Copy (1989).
