Rolston appeared in "Lethal Weapon 2" (1989) with Sherman Howard, who played Lex Luthor on the TV series 'Superboy' (1988-1992), and he appeared in "The Shawshank Redemption" (1994) with Clancy Brown, who has also voiced Lex Luthor in several DC productions.

Has played a prison inmate twice: Um Sonho de Liberdade (1994) then later in Canamar (2003)(#2.17).

Mark Rolston has played an antagonist in two different films where one of his evil cohorts gets his nose broken while fighting with the film's lead protagonist; in The Shawshank Redemption and in Best Of The Best 3: No Turning Back, respectively. In each of these roles, Rolston's character avoids injury during the fight, while one of his companions gets his nose broken by the film's hero.
