During the shooting of Um Tira da Pesada II (1987), director Tony Scott had an illicit affair with Brigitte, who was then married to Sylvester Stallone. The affair, which he describes as "horrendous", led to the break-up of Scott's second marriage to the commercials' producer Glynis Sanders.
