Marie Tomásová

She studied at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts from 1948 to 1952 and then acted on several stages outside Prague.
In 2009, she received the Thalia Award for lifetime achievement in the field of drama.
From 1965 to 1972 she also worked at the "Theatre Behind the Gate", which was led by her husband Otomar Krejca.
From 1955 to 1969 she was a member of the National Theatre in Prague.
Since childhood, she read literary classics, played the piano, sang, and often recited in public.
