This cult classic is coming up on its 40th anniversary, so for that epic event, Arrow Video has decided to restore and release this action film on 4K!

Luigi Mangione is celebrating his birthday behind bars.

There is an interim captain there who is not going to be the captain going forward, but the last three episodes are not about who’s in Bobby’s chair,” stated Minear. “The last three episodes are about that chair is empty.”

However, life does not have a pause button, however much someone might wish there were. "Following an earthquake, the 118 races to the scene of several unusual fires and must figure out their cause before anyone else is hurt. Meanwhile, as everyone settles into their new normal, they try to move forward and plan for the future," reads the 9-1-1 Season 8, Episode 17 logline, "Don't Drink the Water." The episode, airing on May 8, finds the 118 dealing with a massive fire in residential buildings, while contending with this devastating loss. ABC released some images from the episode, previewing what's next.

Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, is requesting the dismissal of state murder charges in New York, arguing that they constitute double jeopardy. Mangione’s legal team contends that the state charges, including first-degree murder as an act of terrorism, are duplicative of the federal charges he faces, which include murder through the use of a firearm in furtherance of terrorism.

Addressing the crowd, Morris said [as transcribed by Sf Gate]: “That song, that last line, ends with ‘kill all.’ That’s a pretty fucking ugly statement. In ugly times. Do not think that we encourage that.”

On Tuesday, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that the Department of Justice will seek the death penalty for Luigi Mangione.

Mangione made headlines in December when he allegedly murdered UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in midtown New York. Since his arrest – five days following the fatal shooting – Mangione has become a hotly debated figure across the country, with many people viewing him as an outspoken vigilante exposing the healthcare crisis in America.

Bondi declared that she was directing prosecutors toward the federal death penalty as part of “President Trump’s agenda to stop violent crime and Make America Safe Again.”

An Ivy League grad, Mangione, 26, faces state and federal charges, all of which he has pleaded not guilty.

Mangione’s lawyer, Karen Friedman Agnifilo, shared that she discussed the decision with the department and called Bondi’s directive “barbaric” and “political.” A spokesperson for the US attorney’s office declined to comment.

Late last year, following a somewhat clownish manhunt, authorities arrested Mangione.

Many see him as an innocent man, possibly the victim of framing. Many see him as a nascent folk hero.

However, the Trump administration is accusing him of being a “cold-blooded assassin.” And Trump’s Attorney General is seeking to execute Mangione.

On Tuesday, April 1, Donald Trump’s Attorney General, Pam Bondi, announced that she is directing federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty against Mangione.

Bondi said in a statement, “Luigi Mangione’s murder of Brian Thompson — an innocent man and father of two young children — was a premeditated, cold-blooded assassination that shocked America. After careful consideration, I have directed federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty in this case as we carry out President Trump’s agenda to stop violent crime and Make America Safe Again.”

Luigi actually has a lot of support, even receiving a sizable donation from a donor while awaiting his trial.

Days after reports emerged about terminal problems with Saw XI, the horror sequel has been pulled from its September release slot.

The future of Saw XI remains uncertain as the next installment in the long-running horror franchise has been stalled due to managerial disputes between Lionsgate and the film’s producers. Initially slated for a September 2024 release, the film’s delay has left fans speculating about its fate, with no clear resolution in sight.

Patrick Melton, one of the screenwriters for Saw XI, revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the film has made “zero progress” since he and writing partner Marcus Dunstan submitted a draft in the spring of 2024. “We haven’t heard anything since May,” Melton stated. “It’s stalled at a managerial level. It has nothing to do with the creative or anything else. There are higher-level things at play.”

While creative disputes have been a common obstacle in Hollywood productions, the delay of Saw XI appears to stem from internal conflicts between the franchise’s producers and Lionsgate executives.
