- Tomoyuki Tanaka nasceu o 26 de abril de 1910 em Osaka, Japão. Era produtor e autor e foi conhecido pelo seu trabalho em Godzilla (1954), Kagemusha, a Sombra de um Samurai (1980) e Yojimbo, o Guarda-Costas (1961). Foi casado com Chieko Nakakita. Morreu o 2 de abril de 1997 em Tóquio, Japão.
