- Hugo Schrader nasceu o 26 de julho de 1902 em Frankfurt am Main, Alemanha. Era ator e foi conhecido pelo seu trabalho em Ins Grab kann man nichts mitnehmen (3. Fassung) (1941), Die Heirat (1965) e Jeder stirbt für sich allein (1962). Morreu o 22 de fevereiro de 1993 em Berlim, Alemanha.
- Gaunt character actor, on stage from 1925. Usually played diffident little men. The German dubbing voice for John Fiedler (a particularly good match), Peter Lorre, Louis de Funes, Fritz Feld and many others.
- Besides Hugo Schrader also gave his voice to dub other actors. The most famous figure he gave his voice was definitely Yoda from "Star Wars".
- After the war he only appeared seldom in movies, so in "Viel Lärm um nichts" (1958), "Bis dass das Geld euch scheidet" (1960) and "Ein Abend mit Labiche" (1980).
- The actor Hugo Schrader began his film career together with the talkies. It wasn't granted to him to play leading roles but he knew how to stage impressive in support roles.
