Attended Christian Brothers Academy (C.B.A., Albany, New York); an all boys, college-prep, Catholic/Military high school and graduated as an officer at the rank of Second Lieutenant.

His grandfather on his mother's side, James Mullany entered the United States through Ellis Island on the "SS Carmania" in 1923 from Claremorris, Ireland. He was originally from County Mayo, Ireland.

He has one older sister, Lori (b. 1962) and two younger brothers, Kevin (b. 1966) and Brian (b. 1970). A younger brother, David (b. 1964) died several days after birth due to complications of the heart.

His father, Guido was born in Guastameroli, Italy and fled to the United States on board the "SS Vulcania" through Ellis Island after the bombings of WWII. His mother, Julia was born and raised in Albany, New York. They were married for almost 63 years until the death of his father at the age of 90 on the morning of March 30, 2022.

Loves music and is a self-taught drummer.

Worked with Nels Van Patten, Larry Poindexter, and Julie McCullough (Playboy Playmate of the Month, February 1986) in a Budweiser TV commercial (June 1987).

First professional acting job was a TV commercial in New York for "OXY Clean Medicated Pads" (August 1986) alongside Tom Verica and Reed Diamond .

Bartended and waited tables after college at New York's former "Curtain Up" restaurant with Sharon Lawrence and Laura San Giacomo.

Last name is pronounced, Ra-doo-chee.

Studied acting at the Circle-in-the-Square Theatre's Summer Workshop Program (1985) with classmate, Morgan Englund.

Loves the game of baseball and is a longtime fan of the New York Yankees.

Portrays the "father" of American Idol (2002) winner, Kelly Clarkson in her music video for "Because of You", which debuted at #1 on MTV's "TRL" (Total Request Live (1998), (October 2005), won the title of "Best Female Video" at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards (2005) and was directed by Vadim Perelman.

Performed in a stage play entitled "The Sacrificed Kid Rides The Blazing Chariot", opposite Christine Taylor (Los Angeles 1992).

Was a production assistant (PA) on the documentary/biography film Intimate Portrait (1990) Kim Fields, which was directed by Academy Award winner, Lee Grant (June 2001).

In Albany, New York attending the New Year's Day "People's Inauguration" of Democratic Gov. Eliot Spitzer, the 54th Governor of the State of New York. Also sworn in were David Patterson, as Lieutenant Governor and Andrew Cuomo, as Attorney General. Former governors of the Empire State George Pataki, Mario Cuomo and Hugh Carey are also in attendance. A concert hosted by Saturday Night Live (1975) cast member, Jimmy Fallon concludes the day long festivities with performances by James Taylor, Natalie Merchant and Ben Vereen. (janeiro de 2007)
