- My plays are fairly dense, language-wise, so the question is how do you negotiate and parcel out the dialogue? In general certain scenes onstage become funny and giddy because of the language. It worked well in À Beira do Caos (1998) I was happy with the movie. I got involved in the editing of the film - lots of editing of stuff where I felt the text had become redundant because the actors had done so much with emotion. It's a very delicate process.
