Founded the Italian-based Love Party with Hungarian-born adult-film star Ilona Staller to fight for the legalization of brothels, "love parks" and better sex education.

In 2006, Simone Pozzi, who was raised by Moana's parents as their son, discovered that he is actually Moana's son, born when she was 17 in 1979.

The mainstream Italian movies Guardami (1999) and Moana (2009) are inspired by her true-life story.
