He has played quite a few waiters throughout his career. Some of these waiter characters were memorable even though their screen time was short, in movies such as
Os Safados (1988),
Smiley's People (1982) and
Operação França II (1975). In
O Documento Holcroft (1985), almost like an in-joke, his character serves a tray of drinks to a whole meeting of people, although he isn't a waiter.
