Finding another hit with her newest television series, Smallville star Kristin Kreuk will return for another season of Murder in a Small Town.

Per Deadline, it has been revealed that Murder in a Small Town has been renewed by Fox for Season 2. Fortunately for the series, it fell under the new "cost-effective international content strategy" at the network, helping to secure the renewal. The show reportedly costs less than $1 million per episode for network-quality content, and better yet, it garnered high viewership. Murder in a Small Town reportedly ranks among the Top 3 new shows for Fox series on Hulu, as well as for all Fox content from the 2024-25 television season. The pilot episode alone drew 11 million viewers to date across platforms.

Sharon’s in danger from a firefighter seeking revenge plus Billy Burke performs an original song on CBS’s Fire Country season one episode 11. Directed by Anton Cropper from a script by David Gould, episode 11 – “Mama Bear” – will air on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 9pm Et/Pt.

Max Thieriot leads the cast as Bode Donovan. Season one’s regulars include Billy Burke as Vince, Kevin Alejandro as Manny, Diane Farr as Sharon, Stephanie Arcila as Gabriela, Jordan Calloway as Jake, and Jules Latimer as Eve.

Episode 11 guest stars include W Tre Davis, Sabina Gadecki, Michael Trucco, and April Amber Talek. Aaron Pearl, Sydney Bell, Aleks Paunovic, Sean Tyson, Barclay Hope, and Mark Krysco also guest star on “Mama Bear.”

Sp Releasing has debuted an official trailer for another Ya it-super-sucks-to-be-teen-these-days film titled Anthem of a Teenage Prophet, adapted from a novel originally titled "Anthem of a Reluctant Prophet". The extra sappy story is about a teenager who realizes he has the power of premonition, and freaks out when he predicts the death of one of his friends. Dubbed the "Prophet of Death" by the media, Luke experiences more death flashes that become reality. Terrified by his new ability, Luke gets a prescription for a powerful sedative, which stops the visions for a while, but soon they—and his general disillusionment with life—return. Cameron Monaghan stars as Luke, with Peyton List, Juliette Lewis, Grayson Gabriel, Aaron Pearl, Richard de Klerk, and Alex MacNicoll. The kid really has the perfect emo look, with that long hair, darting eyes, and everything.

★☆☆☆☆ Daniel Alfredson's appallingly bland backwoods drama Go With Me (2015) stars Anthony Hopkins as ex-logger Lester, who comes to the aid of harassed waitress Lillian (Julia Stiles). While Lester spends his evenings making garden ornaments in memory of his dead wife, Lillian is redecorating her dead mother's house. Trouble lurks in the hedgerows via stalker Blackway (Ray Liotta), who has already assaulted Lillian outside of her restaurant and decapitated her cat. The sheriff (Dale Wilson) proves worse than useless and suggests she go to find local Whizzer and ask for the help of his friend Scotty. Like a sneaky taxi driver the script takes us around the houses, rather than anywhere we want to go.

Whizzer (Hal Holbrook) doesn't know where his pal Scotty (Aaron Pearl) is but Lester, on an apparent whim, decides he will take up the mantle of Lillian's guardian angel. Not exactly moving with the lightning speed of an avenger,...

With the producers of 'Saw' blurb plastered onto the new official one-sheet for upcoming revenge thriller 'The Tortured' the good news is that a slew of new images from the flick have arrived with it. Starring Bill Moseley, Erika Christensen (below) and Jesse Metcalfe the Robert Lieberman directed horror deals with an upper-middle-class couple's lives destroyed when their only child is kidnapped and killed. Obsessed with revenge, the couple seizes an opportunity to kidnap the killer (poor old Moseley). Chelah Horsdal, Aaron Pearl, Fulvio Cecere, Viv Leacock, Sheila Shah, Yee Jee Tso and Samantha Gutstadt round off the cast. The Twisted Pictures production is complete but is still waiting to officially give it a release date.
