Is probably best known for playing deranged and morally degenerate characters both in movies and on television, e.g. in O Colecionador de Ossos (1999), Alien - A Ressurreição (1997) or the organic-hating hologram in the Jornada nas Estrelas: Voyager (1995) episode Revulsion (1997). Among other psychotic roles, also played the deranged blood bank technician from the Jornada nas Estrelas: Enterprise (2001) episode Carpenter Street (2003).

The two killers from the beginning of Marcas da Violência (2005) (who meet their end in the café) are named Leland Jones and William Orser as an inside joke by David Cronenberg, who acted with Orser in Ressurreição: Retalhos de um Crime (1999).

Eloped and married his first wife, Roma Downey, in a Roman Catholic ceremony in Rome, Italy.
