Made guest appearances on four of the longest-running North American science fiction/fantasy series: Arquivo X (1993), Stargate SG-1 (1997), Smallville: As Aventuras do Superboy (2001) and Sobrenatural (2005).

He attended Canterbury High School, an Ottawa arts school specialising in Drama, Dance, and Music.

Told the public on May 17 2024, that he is engaged to DJ Qualls.

He and his wife, Leanna Nash, have two daughters, Mackenzie and Dagan Hunter (b. 12 Sept. 2002).

When you're shooting a big scene like that you can't let your body cool down or it will shut down. So I would skip, do pushups, Jumping jacks, poomses - a taekwondo pattern - between takes to keep my body warm. I literally felt like I had been savagely beaten. The fight is epic.
