Shrishti's father was famous Bollywood director Ramesh Behl.After seeing Neelam, he kept insisting she star in his new film Jawaani. Neelam's parents refused as they were not interested in Hindi films. Finally they consented and Neelam signed the film.

Brother is the world famous Afsheen (Sunny) Kothari. Owner of the world renown and famous E.S.C.Inc in New York. Afsheen has won many awards for his dedicated work. He has been seen on several talk shows.
