McNeice's three children by Kate Nicholls - Travers, Angus, and Maisie McNeice - live in the Bush, in Botswana, Africa. They have written a book called "The Lion Children" (published by Orion Books in September 2001). The book is about their life in the Bush with their mother and step father, who are lion researchers.

Starred in the 1989 miniseries Around the World in 80 Days (1989) as Batcular, and the 2004 movie Volta ao Mundo em 80 Dias: Uma Aposta Muito Louca (2004) as Col. Kitchener.

Divides his time between London and Los Angeles yearly.
