Played Maria in the Australian Stage Production of "the Sound of Music" for sell-out seasons in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane on 1999 and 2000, before handing the role over to Rachael Beck for the Perth and Adelaide shows.

Emily is one of the closest characters to me that I've ever played, because I'm a mum-of-three, and it's about life and marriage and all the things I've been living for the last 18 years since I had my first baby.

So it's family, and she's brave, and she wants to go back to work because she feels she's becoming a bit invisible just being a mum. She's looking for her place again, but she and Greg really love each other. There are lovely glimpses of moments of real love between these two - and it's not even daggy! It's just sweet.

It really suits my personality. I enjoy it because I go to work and get looked after, rather than having to be at home and looking after the kids.
